Position Description


Experience required.

Maintain sanitation, health, and safety in work areas. Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils. Prepare specialty foods following specific methods that usually require a short preparation time. Verify that food meets requirements and quality. Prepare food designated for cooking. Clean stock and restock workstations. Correctly label, stock and organize food deliveries. Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

*Preparation of sushi food items and ensures great food presentation

*Ensure proper food storage and monitor quality of ingredients

*Ability to stock and retrieve all necessary food items and supplies

*Ability to follow recipe and execute in timely manner

*Ability to set-up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

*Keep a sanitized and orderly environment



Requirement:


* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

* Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license
* Moderate to high physical effort (standing, walking, lifting, bending)
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay dependent upon experience
